Bananarama baby........

LionandtheHorse have been loving their frozen banana lollies during the recent blazing sunshine we have been having.  Not only does the look of them make us giggle like silly school girls (well really?!!!) but they taste divine and we think they could almost pass as a healthy snack!!
Why not give them a whirl, the baby and the husband loved them too………….

You will need

Some runny honey
Some bananas
Mixed nuts crushed – we used almonds & walnuts
Grated chocolate
Some wooden lollipop sticks

Cling film

A sense of humour and a freezer

 Then it is simple…..

Peel the banana (we then cut ours in half to make them smaller and an easier mouth fit, ahem!)
Push a wooden lollipop stick into the cut end

Pour runny honey onto a large plate

Pour crushed nuts and flaked chocolate onto a similar sized plate/chopping board

Roll banana (holding the stick end of course) around in the honey until evenly coated
Then transfer the sticky honey coated banana onto the nut/chocolate plate and again roll around until it is well covered – they should stick well to the honey
Tightly wrap the whole banana in cling film and freeze for an hour or so.
Enjoy and feel free to giggle inappropriately whilst you do so…………
