Rainy days and fun days……
Lionandthehorse is a sun lover but as the rain has fallen
over the last week, the frozen banana lollies have stayed in the freezer and we
have been wondering what we can do that doesn’t involve basking in the blazing
sunshine
We LOVED the Jubilee celebrations and, together with the husband
and the baby, Lionandthehorse pitched up at quite a few local events. One was
dry and even had a little sunshine along with a lot of wine, burgers and bouncy
castles. Bad heads reigned the next morning!!
The other was really
wet and cold but had beer, teacups and a take that tribute that had the husband
throwing the kind of shapes to that he usually reserves for Mica only!
Despite the rain the Mother sold her delicious treats very well,
her goodies put a smile on even the wettest customers’ face!
The rest of the week Lionandthehorse has been inside looking
for small projects to do to brighten up the house and to get the creative
juices flowing in preparation for the stock building that we need to start
doing for our forthcoming fairs :
